In order to become a Babelix member, you must meet certain basic requirements:

Minimum age: You must be at least 18 years old. Babelix is only for adults. If we suspect a user is underage, we may request identity verification or delete the account immediately.

Account registration: You must create a personal account by providing true and updated information. You must complete a profile with basic information (such as name, age, and gender) and a clear photo. It is not permitted to create accounts on behalf of others or provide false data.

Identity verification: Babelix may require identity verification to foster trust and security. This may include confirmation of your email address and phone number, as well as verification of an official identity document (e.g., your ID card or passport) to confirm your age and authenticity.

Selfie Verification is mandatory to access certain functions (e.g., sending messages or interacting directly with other members), and Babelix reserves the right to restrict unverified accounts.

One account per person: Each person is allowed to register only one account on Babelix.

Creating multiple accounts or sharing your account with others is not permitted. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and of any activity that occurs under your account.
If you discover unauthorized use of your account, please notify us immediately.

By joining Babelix, you guarantee that you meet these requirements. Failure to comply with any of these basic conditions may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Babelix offers different membership tiers to suit your needs. All users can access a Free Membership, and Premium Memberships, which provide additional benefits, are available.

The general features are described below:

• Free Membership: With a free account, you can create a profile, upload photos, and browse the profiles of other members. To unlock interaction capabilities, you must complete email verification and selfie verification.

  Once verified, free members can engage with the platform within certain limits. Both sugar babies and sugar daddies can send and receive likes and exchange messages using credits when available.

  However, most advanced features and unlimited interactions are reserved for Premium members, depending on their specific membership tier.

• Payment & Renewal: The Premium membership is a subscription service. By subscribing, you authorize Babelix to charge the indicated fee periodically (e.g., monthly or quarterly) using the payment method you provide. Unless you disable auto-renewal before the current period ends, your Premium subscription will automatically renew for the same period selected. You can cancel your renewal at any time from your account settings or by contacting our support team. If you cancel, you will continue to have access to Premium features until the end of the paid period. After this, your account will revert to the Free level.
• Refunds: Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once the contracted period has begun. However, exceptions may apply under consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction or specific promotions.
  For example, if your local consumer protection laws grant a right of withdrawal (cancellation with refund) within a specific period after purchase, Babelix will comply with that regulation. Check our payment policies or contact support if you have any questions about billing.

4. Acceptable Use of the Platform

To maintain a safe and trustworthy community, all users must adhere to specific rules of conduct and acceptable use. By using Babelix, you agree to NOT engage in the following prohibited actions:

• Illegal or unauthorized use: Do not use Babelix for illicit activities. This includes using the platform to promote, facilitate, or engage in any crime. It is forbidden to use Babelix for prostitution, to solicit sexual services in exchange for money, and to engage in human trafficking, drug trafficking, fraud, scams, or other illegal activities. Any indication of sexual trafficking or exploitation will be taken very seriously and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
• Inappropriate or offensive content: Do not post or share content that is illegal, obscene, pornographic, violent, defamatory, threatening, or that incites hate. Specifically, posting nudity or explicit sexual content in your public profile is not allowed, nor is using extremely vulgar or obscene language in public areas of the platform. Content depicting graphic violence, incitement to suicide or self-harm, or any form of hate speech (attacks on individuals based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc.) is strictly prohibited. Babelix reserves the right to remove any text, photos, or other content that it deems inappropriate or violates these rules, and to suspend or ban the responsible user.
• Minors: Any content involving persons under 18 years of age is strictly prohibited. Do not post photos of minors (not even your children) in your profile, and do not attempt to use Babelix to contact or attract anyone underage. If we discover or receive a report of any activity involving minors, the account will be terminated immediately, and, if necessary, we will notify the relevant authorities. You also have the responsibility to report to Babelix if you detect any user who might be underage.
• Impersonation and false information: You must be authentic. Do not impersonate another person or create false or misleading profiles. Providing inaccurate information about yourself, including age, identity, marital status, profession, or intentions, is prohibited. You must not attempt to access another user’s account or use someone else’s account.
• Privacy and personal data: Do not request or collect sensitive personal information from other users (such as passwords, credit card numbers, bank account details, or identity documents) for commercial or illicit purposes. Do not publicly share personal data about yourself or others (such as addresses, phone numbers, and financial information) in your profile, where anyone can see it. Keep conversations within Babelix for safety until you have sufficient trust with the other person (see the Safety Tips section in the Community Guidelines).
• Money requests and transactions: Babelix must not be used to ask for or send money directly. It is forbidden to request transfers, one-off “financial assistance,” top-ups, gift cards, or other economic benefits directly through chats or profiles. Likewise, do not offer money or gifts in exchange for explicit interactions (for example, paying for a sexual encounter or intimate photos); such explicit proposals will be considered serious violations of our rules.
  Note: We understand that in sugar dating relationships, there may be mutually agreed financial support or gifts, but these discussions must be handled privately and outside the platform. Any open attempt to negotiate a fee for companionship within Babelix will be moderated and may result in expulsion, as we must comply with applicable laws and usage policies.
• Abusive behavior or harassment: Treat others with respect. Do not threaten, harass, or intimidate other members. This includes not sending repeated offensive messages, not making insulting comments about someone’s appearance or character, and not stalking or obsessing over another user who has asked you to stop contacting them. Sexual harassment is also not tolerated: do not send unsolicited sexual material (for example, explicit photos not requested, aggressive propositions, etc.). Every user has the right to block and report anyone who engages in such conduct (see the Account Cancellation section below for our actions in case of violations).
• Spam and unauthorized commercial use: Babelix is for personal use and interpersonal connection only. Do not use the platform for advertising, selling products or services, job recruiting, surveys, or sending mass unsolicited messages. It is forbidden to send spam, chain messages, commercial promotions, or any content whose purpose is not personal and genuine within the context of sugar dating. Also, do not use Babelix to redirect users to external sites for commercial purposes (for example, promoting your OnlyFans account or similar, businesses, or affiliate links). Accounts that engage in spam or self-promotion may be suspended without prior notice.
• Malicious technical activities: Do not attempt to interfere with Babelix’s operation. Hacking attempts, reverse engineering, data extraction (scraping), service overload (DDOS), or introducing viruses, malware, or any harmful code are prohibited. Bots, automated tools, or unauthorized scripts are also banned from accessing, collecting, or interacting with information on the platform.
• Intellectual property and third-party content: Only post content you own or have the right to use. Do not upload photos of other people without their permission, nor material protected by copyright (such as professional photos, internet images, third-party texts) that you are not licensed to use. Each user is responsible for the content they contribute and must respect intellectual property laws. If Babelix receives a valid claim for copyright infringement or other rights over something you posted, we may remove that content and, in repeated cases, suspend your account. (For more details, see the Content Rights section below.)

These acceptable use rules apply to your activity within the platform (including your profile, messages, photos, etc.) and any interaction related to Babelix. Violating these rules may result in actions ranging from a warning or content removal to suspension or permanent account cancellation, depending on the severity of the violation (see the Account Cancellation section). Babelix reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine which behaviors or content violate these terms to protect the community.

5. Content Rights & Intellectual Property

At Babelix, we value both your ownership of the content you share and the protection of our own copyright and trademark rights. Below, we clarify how these rights are handled:

5.1. User Content (Your Content)

All text, photos, videos, profile descriptions, and other material that you (or other users) post on Babelix is considered User Content. You retain ownership and copyright over the content you create and share. However, to operate the platform, you grant us a license to use that content. In practical terms, by uploading or posting content on Babelix, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify (e.g., resize a photo), display, and distribute your content within the platform and in Babelix promotional activities. This license solely allows us to operate and promote the service (e.g., displaying your profile photo to matching users or including your testimonial in marketing materials, if you expressly authorize it). We do not claim ownership of your photos or personal data; we require permission to display them on our site or app to fulfill the functionality you expect.

You can revoke this license by deleting your content or account; in that case, we will stop displaying your information, although it may persist temporarily in backups or caches until it is fully purged from our systems. Also note that content already shared (e.g., messages you sent to another user) may remain accessible to the recipient even after you delete it on your end.

5.2. Babelix Content (Platform IP)

The Babelix service, including our name, logo, design, software code, databases, informational text, graphics, and other content provided by Babelix, is protected by intellectual property rights (such as copyrights and trademarks) owned by Babelix or its licensors. For example, “Babelix” is our trademark, as are our slogan and the look and feel of our site and app. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use our platform and its content solely for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these terms.

This means that while you may use Babelix to meet people and view profiles, you do not have the right to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on our software or content unless you obtain our written permission. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights in Babelix to you; all rights remain with us.

5.3. Feedback & Suggestions

If you provide us with ideas, suggestions, or recommendations to improve Babelix (for example, reporting a bug or proposing a new feature), please note that we may use that feedback freely without compensation. We appreciate your input, but we are not obligated to implement or reward it. Any improvements we make based on it will become our intellectual property.

5.4. Infringements

We respect third-party intellectual property rights and ask our users to do the same. If someone posts content on Babelix that infringes your copyright or other rights, please notify us through the designated contact channels (providing the necessary information to identify the infringing material), and we will act promptly, potentially removing or blocking the content in question and taking action against repeat infringers. Likewise, if we receive valid claims about content you have posted that indeed infringes third-party rights or violates our policies, we may remove it.

6. Limitations of Liability

6.1. Service “as is”

Babelix is provided “as is” and as available. While we strive to offer a secure, efficient, and satisfactory service, we do not guarantee that Babelix will be free of interruptions or errors, nor do we warrant any specific success in your objectives (such as finding a compatible relationship). Each user’s experience may vary. We disclaim any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non‑infringement to the fullest extent permitted by law. In short, you use Babelix at your own risk.

6.2. User Interactions

You understand that Babelix does not comprehensively verify the backgrounds of its users beyond the identity validation measures described. Although we encourage profile verification and provide moderation and reporting tools, we cannot ensure or guarantee the identity, honesty, or good intentions of any member. Exercise caution in your interactions. Babelix is not responsible for the conduct of users on or off the platform. Any in‑person meeting, agreement, or exchange you undertake with another person after meeting them on Babelix is strictly between you and at your own risk. We recommend following the Community Guidelines and the safety tips provided there before deciding to meet in person.

6.3. Content & Potential Damages

Babelix is not responsible for the content that users post or share on the platform. While we reserve the right to moderate and remove prohibited content, the ultimate responsibility for what each user says or does rests with that user. Under no circumstances will we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use (or inability to use) Babelix. This includes, for example, lost opportunities, emotional distress, or any harm not reasonably foreseeable by our service. Likewise, Babelix is not liable for viruses or other harmful components that third parties may introduce into the platform without our knowledge.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability, the provisions of this section shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be legally limited, such as certain liability for personal injury caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

6.4. Relationship Between You and Babelix

As a user, you acknowledge that Babelix is not responsible for decisions you make based on profiles or communications within the app. For example, if you decide to send money to someone (despite our warnings) or invite someone to your home, you understand that you do so at your own risk. Babelix makes no representations or warranties about the quality or outcome of any personal relationship that may result from using the platform. We do not guarantee that you will find “the perfect match” or assume liability if a connection does not meet your expectations.

6.5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Babelix, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any third‑party claims, damages, losses, costs, or demands (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the platform, your connections or meetings with other users, any content you post, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law. This means that if Babelix is legally claimed against due to your actions (for example, a third party sues us because you posted infringing content), you will cooperate with us and/or cover the resulting costs to the extent permitted by law.

7. Account Cancellation & Service Termination

7.1. Voluntary Cancellation by the User

You have the right to delete your Babelix account at any time if you decide to stop using the service. You can do this from your profile settings by selecting the “Delete Account” option (or equivalent feature). Once confirmed, your profile will no longer be visible to others.

Please note that, for technical reasons, complete removal of all your data may take a few days, as per our Privacy Policy (for example, your conversations may remain securely stored for a time before being permanently erased in compliance with applicable data retention laws). If you wish to return to Babelix in the future, you will need to create a new account, as account deletions are generally permanent.

Important: If you have an active Premium subscription when you delete your account, ensure that you cancel the subscription beforehand to avoid future charges. Account deletion does not automatically cancel subscriptions made through app stores or other external payment methods.

7.2. Termination or Suspension by Babelix

Babelix reserves the right to suspend temporarily or permanently terminate your account in the event of a breach of these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or any misuse of the platform. This decision may be made with or without prior notice, depending on the severity of the situation. Examples of circumstances that may lead to termination or suspension include, but are not limited to:

• Serious violations of acceptable use rules (e.g., discovery of a fake profile, repeated harassment of other users, attempted fraud, involvement with minors, etc.).
• Fraudulent activities or reasonable suspicion of fraud.
• Offensive or illegal behavior both within and outside the platform if it affects other Babelix users. (For example, if we receive a credible report that you acted violently or inappropriately during an in-person meeting arranged via Babelix.)
• Prolonged inactivity: If you do not log into your account for an extended period (e.g., 24 months), we may close your profile due to inactivity to keep our database up to date. In such cases, we will attempt to notify you first via the email address you have registered.

When Babelix suspends or terminates an account for policy violations, the user will not be entitled to a refund of any fees paid (if you were a Premium member) for the unused period, except at Babelix’s discretion or as required by applicable law. We also reserve the right to prohibit you from registering again under a different account if you have been expelled for serious breaches.

7.3. Notices & Appeals

In some cases, especially for minor infractions or where legally required, Babelix may issue a prior warning or notice to the user to correct improper behavior before canceling the account. However, for serious violations, termination may be immediate and permanent. If you believe your account has been suspended or terminated in error, you may contact our support team to appeal the decision. Please include details and reasons why you think a mistake was made. We will review appeals on a case-by-case basis, but please note that if the expulsion was due to apparent violations of our policies, restoration of access is unlikely.

7.4. Service Discontinuation

Babelix aims to remain available for the long term. Still, if we must shut down the platform or discontinue the service entirely, we will inform users with reasonable notice via our official channels (email, website/app announcement, etc.). In such an event, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and, where applicable, refunds for unused portions of active Premium subscriptions will be processed.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Babelix is operated by Marvixia OÜ, a company registered in Estonia under registration number 16539801 and VAT number EE102593347, with its registered office at Ahtri 12, 10151 Tallinn, Estonia. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Estonia, excluding its conflict of law rules.

We will always strive to resolve any dispute amicably through our customer support. If an amicable resolution is not possible, any claim or controversy arising out of or relating to your use of Babelix, these Terms, or your relationship with Babelix shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tallinn, Estonia, unless mandatory local law of your country of residence dictates otherwise.

Suppose any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law. In that case, that provision shall be applied to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

By electronically accepting these Terms (e.g., clicking “I Agree” during registration) and using Babelix, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all of the above.
